ERYC Transport Policy recommends refusal

The Transport Policy section of East Riding council has submitted its response and is recommending refusal.

We do not support this application as submitted. While it was presented as a Park and Ride development with ancillary buildings, the scheme has been materially expanded beyond that scope. Only approximately one third of the site is now allocated to Park and Ride use, with the remainder given over to a bus depot, petrol filling station and two drive‑through units. These elements represent a fundamental change in the nature, scale and impact of the proposal and were not included within the original scope or expectation of the development. As such, the application cannot reasonably be considered a compliant Park and Ride scheme, and should be refused in its current form.
